Aug 27,2007 00:00 by admin
Everybody knows Cedric Gracia. We don't have to introduce to You one of the most talented mountain bikers in the world. Our friend from polish distribution of Sombrio clothing made some interview with Cedric on the start of this season. Check what Cedric got to say:

1. Ok, everybody knows you, you`re one of maybe 4 or 5 riders in the world, who can ride on everything and everywhere, and still with the smile on your face. What can you say about this, or maybe you have a different point of view?
CG: I don t know i surprise myself and learn everyday, don t ask me why, I don t even know! I love my sport and the diversity of it.

2. The beginning of 2007 season was great for you, 2 times #1,congratulations! What are your realistic goals for next races in this season?
CG: Getting fast and faster and try to get more consistent and get ready for the worlds. I am getting stronger and stronger by the years and now it s time for a pay back!

3. Before you were CG International Bicycle Superstar, who were you?
CG: The same little golf ball but behind the scene. I don t think I changed much but people pay more attention on what I am doing!

4. Do you remember your first bike and first race?

CG: Yep it was in la bourboule with a hard tail, and I got 15 overall and I say f;;;; mtb is not so bad, now I am a fag too, I can change speed on my bike..... because I was a bmx rider and I was thinking was for fags!

5.How is it feel to see yourself in all these movies (I mean bike films;)?
CG: hahaha true bike film, because I keep the other ones in my room in Andorra. Oo it s fun , but I don t like to look at me riding I feel strange, but I like to see the young kids, saying " cg you segy was dope dude "

6. Right now, all these young guys are excite with slopestyle thing and they forget about DH, 4X old school. Is it good, Could you tell us your opinion about future of mountain biking? In what direction it will be evolve?
CG: I think it wrong to get focus on one event like slopestyle, because if you crash and hurt you are out of the season and the career of a slope style guy is not long at all. I think racing offer you more in terme of challenges and getting smart on what you do, and always possibility to get better with work and years. Don't get me wrong I love slope style but it s always the same in the end and people get tired of it, but right now it s fashion but until when?

7. As I remember you are into freeskiing. Do you think that various sport disciplines are helpful in bicycle skills progress?
CG: Yep 100 %, speed, drops, mountain , risk;.....

8. Have you got some kind of special training system, gym, diet, etc. or simply you try to ride bikes a lot and not to dehydrate (drink beer and other good stuff;)? How is your training when you`re out of racing season (winter time)?
CG: I train my ass of because before i was lazy but now i have to cash the delay i got in 10 years...but i still party my ass of too....sorry can't change cg!

9. What do you think about FR, can you perceive it at the same level as DH and 4X racing?
CG: Different for sure but an nother way to have fun;

10. What do you prefer and why, 4X or DH?
CG: Can't choose, but the training on 4 cross is fun after the race it s different, if the guy behin you want to win and you are stronger he is going to make you crash!fuck that

11. Do you have a favourite and most hateful track, or maybe you don`t have one?
CG: I love where I live, Vvallnord in Andorra, I can make my trails where i want and ride them with my friends.

12. What`s your opinion about young guns on World Cup DH and 4X courses? Have you see someone to be the champ in the future?
CG: Beside pro cop in 4 cross no!in dh sam was the bad ass last year !

13. Your favourite bicycle rider of all time is...?
CG: Palmer.

14. When you compete you have all kind of situations, we all know competition: elbows, pushing the opponent, that`s the part of a game. Is anybody imprint in your memory, something or someone who irritate and make you mad at the time of race?
CG: Yep every race when i see a rider rideing a skinsuit;;;and when people oblige me to ride one in the worlds .

15. What are you doing when you don`t race and don`t do the bike stuff? I take care of my company
CG: FURIOUS Sport Marketing Agency and I take care of the import of my American cars.

16. I want ask you about Fun Ride Camp, what`s your role in this venture? Is it something you want to do in the future?
